General Terms

URLStart is the primary entity responsible for managing its services, including its subsidiaries. All rights are reserved by URLStart.

Pricing

All prices are subject to change and can be reviewed at any time on our official website at URLStart.

Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods for our services are available on our official website.

Invoices and Late Payments

Payment invoices are generated 7 days prior to the due date. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a suspension of services, and if unpaid for an extended period, the service may be terminated. Late payments may incur additional fees.

Subscription Cancellation and Refund Policy

Subscription-based payments can be canceled at any time; however, refunds or credits are not applicable after 7 days from the payment date.

Marketing and Communication

By registering as a customer of URLStart, you agree to receive promotional emails, including offers from third-party partners. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email we’ve sent. For more details, all information provided during registration is subject to URLStart’s Privacy Policy.

Free Migration

If your product includes free migration, it will only be available for migrations within the same platform (e.g., cPanel to cPanel, Plesk to Plesk). We do not provide free migration for services between different platforms (e.g., Plesk to cPanel).

Termination

Hosting services that expire and are not renewed within a specified number of days from the expiry date will be completely terminated after the suspension period. For VPS servers, termination will occur within 48 hours of expiry, and for Dedicated Servers, termination will occur within 72 hours of expiry. Once terminated, any deleted data cannot be restored.

Clients will be notified of the termination via email or phone call. URLStart will not be responsible if the client is unable to check their email or receive calls regarding the renewal.

Timely renewal is crucial, as most services will be suspended immediately the day after the due date. The day after suspension, termination will occur. Please note that URLStart cannot guarantee a backup in such cases. Reminder emails will be sent, but ignoring them may lead to data loss.

Service Suspension and Termination

Services may be suspended or terminated due to misuse, non-payment, or violations of the Terms of Service. Services will terminate automatically one day after the due date without prior notification, and backups will not be available after termination.

Prohibited Content

We do not permit any adult content, including pornography or nudity.

The following content is strictly prohibited on our servers. No refunds or data recovery will be possible if any of the following content is found on your website:

Free Hosting (For Reseller Users): Free hosting is not allowed.
High Traffic News Websites & E-Commerce Sites: These types of websites are not allowed.
Spam/Threats Websites: Websites that send or host spam or threats are prohibited.
Phishing Websites: Any website attempting to steal personal information is prohibited.
Email Marketing: Email marketing is not allowed.
IRC Scripts/Bots: IRC scripts and bots are not allowed.
Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers: Proxy scripts or anonymizer websites are prohibited.
Pirated Software/Warez: Hosting of pirated software, warez, or any illegal content is prohibited.
Image Hosting Scripts: Scripts similar to Photobucket or Tinypic are not allowed.
Large Collections of MP3, MP4, and/or ISO Files: Hosting large collections of media files such as MP3s, MP4s, or DVD/CD ISO images, including movies, is not allowed.
Prime Banks Programs: Hosting programs related to prime banks is prohibited.
Lottery Sites: Lottery and gambling websites are not allowed.
Warez Forums/Websites: Websites distributing pirated or illegal content will be terminated by our server team without prior notice.
Fraudulent Sites: This includes, but is not limited to, sites listed at aa419.org and escrow-fraud.com.
Adult Content (Porn Sites): Adult websites are strictly prohibited.
Push Button Mail Scripts: Scripts that generate mail automatically are not allowed.
Bitcoin Mining: Bitcoin mining on our servers is not allowed.
Specific Domains: Hosting of .tk, .ml, .cf, or .ga domains is prohibited. If such domains are found, the service will be terminated without prior notice.
Hacker Focused Sites: Any site related to hacking, archives, or programs designed to exploit security vulnerabilities is prohibited.
Commercial Audio Streaming: Hosting of more than one or two audio streams is prohibited.
Shared Hosting Restrictions: All shared hosting plans are for web hosting purposes only. Hosting of downloadable files such as MP3s, wallpaper downloads, movie streaming/download sites, or bot-related sites is not allowed. These sites will be suspended by our server team without prior notice.
Service Due Date: The due date for services will never change under any circumstances.

User Responsibilities

As a user of URLStart's services, you are responsible for ensuring that all hosted content complies with legal regulations. Unauthorized activities such as spamming, hacking, or distributing illegal content are strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in immediate termination of services without refund or data recovery.

Payments and Refunds

Payment Terms

All services are prepaid and must be renewed before expiration. Payments via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and PayPal activate services immediately, while bank transfers take 1-2 working days to process.

Refund Policy

A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to Web Hosting services such as Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, WordPress Hosting, and Cloud Hosting, only for annual or longer subscription plans. Refunds are not applicable for Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, and other specified services. Domain registration fees, licenses, and additional charges are excluded from refunds. For monthly, 3-month, and 6-month plans, no refunds will be provided.

Fund or Credit Balance

No Refund after Fund Added to URLStart Wallet (Credit Balance): Once funds are added to the URLStart wallet, they are non-refundable.
Non-Refundable Credit Balance: Any funds provided into the URLStart wallet are non-refundable.
Refunds for Hosting Purchased with Credit Balance: From 01-January-2025, if you purchase hosting services using the credit balance and later request a refund, the refund will be credited back to your URLStart credit balance, not to your original payment method (such as bank, UPI, or any supported payment gateway). Please read these terms and conditions carefully before adding funds to the credit balance. Any requests for a refund after using the credit balance will be considered a violation of our terms and will not be processed.

Cancellation

Submit cancellation requests via the client area, selecting either immediate cancellation or cancellation at the end of the billing period. No refund will be provided for immediate cancellations or cancellations at the end of the billing period.

For any cancellation-related requests, please contact our support team only. Any cancellation made directly will be considered as the user not planning to continue the service, and no further action will be taken.

Domain Registration

Customers are not allowed to purchase any domain that contains a trademarked name or is registered to another company, individual, or entity. For example, domains such as amazonaffiliates.in, amazon-deal.in, amazn.co.in, delllaptop.in, vodafoneidea.in, facebookfollower.in, instagramfollower.in, googlesearch.in, googleindia.in, etc., are prohibited.

Once a domain is registered, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

It is the responsibility of the client to verify that the domain registration was successful. In rare and unfortunate cases, domain registration may fail due to software errors, network issues, or other unknown technical reasons. If there is an issue with the domain registration, the client should contact URLStart within 7 working days. The client should update the support team by emailing support@urlstart.com to rectify the problem.

URLStart accepts no liability for the loss of any domain that has failed to register due to invalid or insufficient information provided, late payments, or technical faults beyond our control.

If URLStart finds that a customer has registered a domain name that includes a registered trademark of another company or any porn-related domain names, we reserve the right to delete the domain or suspend the account. No refund will be provided in such cases. Examples of prohibited domains include amazonaffiliates.in, amazn.co.in, delllaptop.in, vodafoneidea.in, facebookfollower.in, instagramfollower.in, googlesearch.in, googleindia.in, and others that may violate trademark rights or contain inappropriate content.

Domain Availability

URLStart cannot guarantee domain availability during registration. Please ensure that the domain name you wish to register is available before proceeding.

Ensure that your WHOIS information is accurate to avoid service disruptions or registration issues.

Free Domain Offer

Selected hosting plans include a free domain for the first year. Renewal charges will apply after the initial year, and the client is responsible for paying those renewal fees.

Domain Renewal

Renewal reminders for domains will be sent one month before the expiration date. However, URLStart is not responsible for delays or failures in domain renewals, and it is the client's responsibility to ensure timely renewal.

Prices for domain renewal may change over time due to inflation or other factors. To safeguard your domain from potential deletion, please review renewal prices or consider transferring the domain before its expiry.

Backups & Recovery

Free Backup: Free backups are a complimentary service provided by URLStart. We do not charge for this service, and the data backup process is fully automated. We can only provide data recovery if a backup is available on our storage server.
Size Limitations: Accounts larger than 10 GB will not be included in backups. Any accounts exceeding this size will be excluded from the backup process.
Responsibility for Data: URLStart is not responsible for files and/or data stored on your account. You agree to take full responsibility for all files and data transferred, and to maintain appropriate backups of files and data stored on URLStart’s servers.

Backup Policy

User Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their content.
Daily Backups: Daily backups are available for Web Hosting solution plans, retaining data for up to 1 day for both databases and websites.
Excluded Data: Backups do not include emails or media files such as images and videos.
Paid Solutions for VPS and Dedicated Servers: For VPS and Dedicated Servers, paid backup solutions are recommended as these services are excluded from the free backup option.

Liability Limitations

URLStart is not liable for any data loss or service interruptions that are beyond its control. The liability of URLStart is limited to the fees paid within the last twelve months for the respective service.

Reactivation Fee

In case your server/service is suspended due to any kind of malware, phishing, prohibited content, or abuse, a reactivation fee of ₹1000 INR (for malware or phishing) or ₹500 INR (for prohibited content or abuse) will apply. There will be no rebates on this fee, so please do not request a rebate.

Before reactivating the account, the user must remove any abusive content. Failure to do so will result in permanent account suspension with prior notice, and no refund will be provided.

Mailing / Bulk Mailing / Email-Spamming

Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding unsolicited emails, bulk emailing, and spam. "Safe lists" and "double opt-in" practices will also be treated as spam. Any user found sending spam will have their account terminated, with or without notice. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
Mailing Policy and Limits: Sending bulk emails is not allowed on our servers. Each cPanel account is allowed to send a maximum of 300 emails per hours. If any account is found to be spamming, it will be suspended with or without notice (this applies to shared, wordpress, cloud and reseller hosting only).

DDoS, Infected Files, Viruses, Other Destructive Activities or Shell Backdoor

CPGuard Plugin: The CPGuard plugin will suspend a service when more than 10 infected files are found. If the infected files are cleaned and then detected again, the account will be suspended. If this issue repeats, the plugin will terminate the infected files from the server, and URLStart will not be held responsible for the loss of data. Additionally, if a client is found engaging in DDoS attacks or accessing a server unauthenticated through the use of a shell backdoor, similar actions will be taken.

Compliance with Laws

Users must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to the content they host and the usage of services provided by URLStart.

Prohibited Activities

Activities such as hacking, phishing, spamming, distributing illegal software, or promoting terrorism are strictly forbidden on our platform.

Account Eligibility

Information Accuracy: The account holder must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process, including their full name, physical address, and valid email address.
Payment: The account holder must provide a valid form of payment for the services they intend to use. This may include a credit card, PayPal account, or other approved payment method.
Prohibited Activities: The account holder must agree not to engage in any prohibited activities on our servers, including but not limited to hacking, spamming, distribution of illegal content, or any other activity that violates our terms of service or local, state, or federal laws.
Termination: We reserve the right to terminate any account that violates our terms of service or engages in any prohibited activities, without notice or refund.

Wrong Details

If the customer provides incorrect details, such as an invalid email address or phone number, their account will be closed. The account will not be reopened until the correct details are entered by the customer.

Users are not allowed to create multiple accounts on the platform. If anyone attempts to do so, the additional accounts will be promptly closed. The system has various methods to detect duplicate accounts, including tracking IP addresses, user activity logs, and geolocation. These measures ensure that each person can only have one account, promoting fairness and preventing misuse of the platform. Maintaining a single account per user helps uphold the platform's policies and ensures a level playing field for all users.

User Content and Privacy

Collecting personal data from others without consent is prohibited.
Misuse of others' personal or confidential information is not allowed.

Identity Verification

URLStart may request government-issued identification and phone verification if an order appears suspicious. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that their account details are accurate and valid.

Some products or services may require identity verification in order to proceed with the order or account activation.

Account Security

Users are responsible for securing their account credentials. Weak passwords or unauthorized access attempts may lead to account suspension to protect the security and integrity of the account.

Resource Usage

Excessive Strain on Servers: Excessive strain on servers is not permitted. Misuse of resources, including CPU, RAM, and bandwidth, may result in service restrictions or suspension.
Disk Space: As per our policies, at least 90% of your web pages (such as .asp, .php, .html, etc.) must be 'linked' to files (e.g., .GIF, .JPEG, etc.) stored on our server. Websites containing no HTML documents or those with a large number of unlinked files are subject to the deletion of files or account cancellation without prior notice.
Prohibited Content: Downloading websites with content like music, media (MP4), movies, software, etc., is prohibited on Linux shared hosting and Linux reseller hosting plans.

Unlimited Hosting Plans

Unlimited Hosting does not mean that every resource on the server is unlimited. The aim of unlimited hosting is for use by necessary websites only, and it is not intended to be used as storage or for backup purposes. As this is a shared hosting package, server resources will be shared between multiple sites. Therefore, unlimited disk space, RAM, or processor usage is not guaranteed. If your site's resource usage is found to impact other sites on the server, you will be requested to move to a dedicated VPS package.

Third Party Products and Services

We do not provide support for third-party scripts, products, or services. Any issues related to third-party tools or services must be directed to the respective provider.

Service Uptime

URLStart strives for 99.9% uptime, excluding maintenance or unforeseen circumstances. Customers will receive prior notification for any scheduled maintenance to minimize service disruption.

Bandwidth Regulations

Exceeding Allocated Bandwidth: If you exceed the allocated bandwidth, you will receive a notification. Failure to take action may result in temporary suspension of your service.
Excessive Usage: Excessive bandwidth usage that threatens server stability may require an upgrade to a VPS or may result in resource restrictions to maintain optimal performance for all users.

Changes to this Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes or modifications will become effective and binding on you upon posting. Therefore, we encourage you to review this page frequently. Your continued use of the services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the modified Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to use or access the services.
